KATHARINA, 19 ÅR

Hey Hey, My name is Katharina (or just Kathi) and I come from Germany. I am 19 years old (turning 20 in June) and right now I live in Norway with a Norwegian family with 1 child (1 years old). I have been an au pair since August 2022. I’ve lived in Tromsø for one year with 3 children (age: 2, 5 and 7) . After that I lived for 4 month with a British family in Oslo (2 children, age: 4 and 7) before I moved to my current family. I still live quite close to Oslo so a personal meeting would be possible:) I love traveling and hiking. I like painting and dancing. When it's winter, I like to go and take an ice bath. My big brother lives alone in western Germany (he is 22) and my little brother (he is 16) lives with my mother in northern Germany. I lived with my father in West Germany before I started to live in Norway. I have a good connection to my brothers and both of my parents. I love animals for I have always been surrounded by them in my childhood. I speak norwegian in level B1 but I still want to improve it since I have a Norwegian boyfriend (we are together since December). I could always combine my privat life with my au pair life. It always worked fine for me and the host family’s that I stayed with. I attend to go to a bible school near lillestrøm in August until June 2025. Which would be from 9-14:30 (from Monday to Wednesday) and from 9-13:30 on Thursday, no school on Friday. So for me a family with flexibility would be good and kids that already go to school/kindergarten. I like being flexible as much as I can and like to get flexibility back.
