Dear Family, Hello there, Thankyou for taking time to view my au pair profile description. I'm really grateful, please allow to interest you with a bit of myself. My name is Veronica. I'm 26years,Kenyan, I currently live in Marseille France. I want to become an au-pair because i love children and working with families and would like to learn a language. If you choose me as your Au Pair then I am sure we will have a great time. I would describe myself as an open-minded, hard-working, easy going, dedicated and responsible person. Sometimes I might be shy and a little reserved at first, but that is not something that bothers at all, I am very flexible. For me, safety, health and happiness of children are most important.I am a firstborn in a family of seven, my parents who are casual labourers Lucy and Lawrence, 4 siblings, me, my sister Esther 23years who just finished campus last year and waiting to graduate this year, My brother Elvis 20 years who is in first year of college, my second last sister turning 17years in last term of high school and our last born Maureen turning 15 years,in her last year of high school. I am not in any type of a relationship ,I'm single and have alot of friends,I finished my high school in 2015 and joined college in 2016, I then found a job and deferred from school to work, then I did a short course and started working in hospitality industry for 3 years ,I'm currently not in school but I plan to go back to school to study a nursing course in about an year and would also like to study a language.I like to watch series and movies, I'm also an out going person and a very happy and a social person that makes new friends easily, I enjoy dancing to all kinds of music, my most favourite hobby is swimming, I do swimming quite alot. When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in simple things, I enjoy outdoors and adventures and also like visiting my friends and going to places I haven't been and seen before. I have helped my parents look after my younger siblings since birth. I was nevertheless much more involved in caring for them on a daily basis. In addition, my two younger siblings, also spent a lot of time playing with our neighbour's kid Patricia so from time to time I found myself in their ever animated company. I have also taken care of my aunts 3 kids while she was working that is Leilana turning 7 years, Jafari turning 4years and Leshan turning 3years, I have taken care of them since birth and love every moment I spend with kids, I get to learn a new thing every day and I can comfortably say that I sincerely enjoy spending time with children.My first language is, of course, Swahili, and I am also fluent in English. I started learning English in primary school, and it was also the language of instruction in the secondary school I attended. I have in addition a mother tongue language that is kikuyu that I'm fluent at. I speak little French. I begun learning it in high school for 4 years but I wasn't able to continue learning more of French in my college.I will be able to learn the more complex in and out's of life and how to handle it . I believe being an au pair will help me be an independent and responsible person. Taking good care of my host family gives me more responsibility. Lending a hand counts even in my own little ways. I also want to learn more about different cultures, or rather cultural exchange.
