Dear next au pair We would love to welcome you into our family of four, Jakob 4 (soon 5) years old, Isabella 10 months old, my husband Christian and myself Elisabeth :-) Both active, happy and kind kids. We have been so happy with our first au pair and are now looking for her replacement as her contract will end in the beginning of November 2023. A bit about us. We are very kind, outgoing , and caring family who loves sailing every summer (so you should be willing to spend a month on a boat :-)) and like traveling. You will be going with us for some vacations and some you will stay home. We are quite spontaneous so we value that you are flexible. For example going out for a date night where we would need you to watch the kids :-) We live in a newly renovated house 20 min north of the capital Copenhagen. You will have your own smaller room next to a smaller bathroom. With two full time jobs it has been a true blessing to have a wonderful au pair in the house helping with everyday tasks and baby sitting. For example Tidy up so that house always looks neat, cleaning, taking out trash, prepare baby bottles, cooking breakfast and dinner, doing laundry, fold clothes and put back in closets, babysitting when we are not around: help feeding the kids, change diapers, put on new clothes, playing with them like a family member ☺️ We expect that you have childcare experience and have experience with house keeping. If you have been a house maid before it is a plus. You have a kind and loving personality and is a natural with kids. You are flexible, know how to swim, have a positive attitude in everything you do. That you are Christian believer, as we are a Christian family. We see life as a blessing and hope you do the same. The Danish government requires that you are under 30, that you are single (not married), and don’t have any children. And that you have a background that matches the au pair program here.
