ANDHIKA, 26 ÅR

My name is Andhika or Andy for short. I come from a city of Bogor, near a mountain called Mount Putri and it has a lot of waterfall there. It's such a great time i had but i want to expand more to see other culture and open my mind more about the world. With a degree in economic management, it helps me managing a lot of activity including of nursery of kids, autistic, elderly or pets. In this fast paced world, the childrens or elderly often struggle with the young and passionate people. I've always know that my grandma sometimes feel lonely because of her kids have so much work and barely spending times with her. My mom and i often went there to take care of her, my mom is a housewife so she have a lot of free time to visit her. I believe kids and elderly needs a lot of attention, in their growing age they cant learn by themselves and with elderly, they're struggling to do activity they used to do. I want to help them feeling better, because everyone in this world deserve to be happy. Experience I have an autistic brother and we have lived our life together. He's a 25 years old now and I've been taking care of him starting from his morning routine to the very end if his day at night on bed. He's really a dependent person to take care of himself. I bathed him and help him cleaning after going to toilet. I have a big family and as a young parents, my cousins often ask me to take care of their kids as they work. I've been taking care of 4 kids, the first one is 3 kids with the oldest is 6 and the youngest is 1. I've been taking care of the oldest ever since he was 3 years old. The other was a 10 years old cousin who have problems studying and i helped him with his studies. For elderly experiences, My grandma from my dad has been living with me for almost a year before she died and as a kid back then i learned and helped my mom taking care of her from preparing meals to help her to go to toilet. It wasn't an easy task as she was in a wheelchair. In my adulthood i took care of my uncle with a heart problem when i was 19. He walk with a cane and sometimes on wheelchair, i would company him in his meals watching news and we often discuss about it. That time he was living with my grandma from my mom and while she took care of my grandma, i took care of my uncle. It wasn't very long as he soon move with his wife to another city but it was a great experience. I'd like to have a chance with au pairing to broaden my culture, mind and network. With those i could open my mind more and learn about differences we have in this world. I'm a hard worker with big passion for new things because nothing is useless when it's about learning new things. I would be so excited to have an au pair family, it's really a great chance to be an au pair.
