Dear future Au-pair. We are looking for an au-pair to join and be part of our family and care after our daughter Sky, who is approx six and a half years old. I am Dutch and my husband is a British Indian, and we both currently work, and travel periodically. We also have two pets, a labradore and a cat. We live in a lovely coastal fisherman's village called Sesimbra, which has a population of approx 5k in the surrounding area, and is approx 35kms from the capital, Lisbon. In addition, we run a tourism product in Sesimbra, where we rent villas (including part of our place) for summer Tourism. Although we have two part time portuguese staff, to help at home, our lives are busy, so we are looking for an au-pair to help create the right balance for our daughter and fill in where we currently are challenged to. We'd really like our au pair to be a happy, caring and patient person, while being flexible (given are routines constantly change) and a good communicator. English is important. We would also really like our future au-pair to help drive our daughter's learning and creativity. In turn we will accept you with open arms to our family and provide the same support for you. Interests/activities wise, we like to be active including sports, and are passionate about cuisine. Sesimbra has lots of activities available and a good place to enjoy nature and water sports.
