Dear Au Pair, We are a family of five; three girls, age 5, 7 and 10 and mother (43) and father (44). We live in Høvik close to Oslo in an old house by the sea. We have a spare small apartment with kitchenette and bathroom for au pair or guests. Since we both have relatively busy jobs, and with some increased travelling expected in 2018, we would like to have and au pair in our family as soon as possible. We would prefer someone who speak one of the Scandinavian languages, and we would like you to be easy going and sociable.

The kids like to play together at home, or with friends, when they are not doing any of their activities (football, swimming, playing the clarinet, gym). We all like to be with friends and family. We enjoy good food and outdoor activity. Some weekends and vacations we go skiing at our mountain cabin. During summer we often spend time at sea in our boat that we share with 4 other families.

From the au pair we expect the following:
- During busy periods: send the kids off to school and accompany the youngest to the kindergarten
- Keep the children´s outdoor clothes organized, dry and prepared for the next day
- Prepare food for the children to bring to school
- Help preparing and driving the kids for afternoon activities like football, swimming, skiing etc.
- Do light housework
- Prepare dinner and arrange the kitchen afterwards
- Fold and organize clothes
- In general be part of the every day activities of a busy family

We (the parents) speek English, Spanish and some German. The children have close relatives living in Sweden and Denmark, and thus they are quite used to Danish and Swedish. The two oldest kids are learning English at school.

We will use an international au pair contract and terms and benefits will be according to the rules for au pairs. For the right candidate we can arrange for a visit to our house for us all to meet.
