THEODÓRA

Hello,

We are a family of 6. Husband and wife, three girls, 8 , 5 and 3 years old and 1 year old boy.
We live in Iceland, in Reykjanesbær which is close to the airport, 15 minutes from the famous Blue Lagoon and 35 minutes from the heart of Reykjavík. We are looking for a Au pair to stay with us the next 12-24 months.

Viktoría Sól (8) is in school, Elísabet Sól (5) and Isabella Sól (3) are in kindergarten during the day. Kristofer 1 year old is still home and will not go to daycare until he is 2 years old. We run our own business and we work mostly from home.

We do have a big family and we love to spend time with them over the weekends. Go to brunch, barbecue or just find a reason to celebrate life together. We love to Snowboard, ride bicycles together and traveling to other countries (on a hold now because of Covid-19 epidemic).

The Au pair will be home with Kristofer all weekdays 6 hours per day (according to the 30 hour week). While Kristofer takes a nap during the day we ask the Au pair to do housework like clean up in the kitchen, vacuuming the floor and wipe off, folding laundry and etc…
She will not need to work over the weekends or in the evenings unless it´s something special, then we would arrange that together with the Au pair earlier.

We hope to get the chance to meet some wonderful girl who want to live with our family over the next 12-24 months. We will do our best to make her time in Iceland rememberable and fun.
