We are a family of four, myself and my husband Tim plus Miles (3 years old) and Aria (currently 15 months old).

We are kind, considerate and warm people and would love to welcome someone similar to our home. We are looking for someone who is mature, hardworking, patient and flexible, who loves children and babies first and foremost.

We have already had two very successful experiences with au pairs from France and Italy, so we are looking for another one to start as soon as possible. You need to be from the EU and female only please.

My husband works full-time (Head of Digital) and I work part-time (PR & Marketing), both working from home on some days of the week.

Day-to-day life with our children is usually split into two parts of the day with a break for lunch in the middle. The children love to go out to the park, to playgroups, to the library and walking out and about to explore the world, as well as playing inside with trains and other toys when the weather is not so nice.

Our son Miles has started going to preschool three days a week so you would primarily be looking after our daughter until he is home from school at 3pm.

We are looking for someone who wants to be part of the family, this means not only helping with the childcare but also getting involved in day to day family life (cooking, cleaning, food shopping etc) and generally supporting us. We also want someone who has a certain amount of independence and maturity who will enjoy her own time and is confident to make friends and explore the local area and London on her own.

You would be required to help look after the children usually around 40 hours per week, with days and hours depending on what we need. We would require flexibility about the hours and days each week as children don’t work to a schedule :) You would usually have most weekends and evenings off and there might also be some babysitting in the evenings from time to time. There would also be some cleaning (dusting, hoovering, taking bins out and helping to keep the kitchen clean etc) and we will also ask you to do some food shopping and basic cooking.

You would have a nice double room overlooking the garden with a TV and share the family bathroom.
