LOOKING FOR A DANISH OR ENGLISH MARY POPPINS
My husband and I are both hardworking professionals but we are committed family people and treasure our time with our children. We live in a detached house with garden just west of Wimbledon Village and have the facility to have a live in or live out nanny. We currently have a full time housekeeper who also sometimes helps out with the kids (she has been with us for 4 years). Our current live in nanny has been with us for 3.5 years but is leaving us mid January to go travelling.
Our eldest in year 2 is a bright, highly motivated, curious and caring girl. She has a great appetite for life and is keen to try and see everything. Our youngest is in reception, and is a bubbly funny and happy boy (just turned 4). As one of the youngest in his class he is keen to learn but needs encouragement to ensure he keeps up and continues to find it fun.
Our ideal person is therefore someone that can care for the children, assist every afternoon mon-fri with pick up from school, homework, play/motivational activities and cook healthy meals for the children (our housekeeper can also help with cooking on some days). Some general help and a willingness to muck in with family admin work and chores to make our life easier will also be required. The key hours would be 3pm to 6 or 7pm. A few babysitting evenings a month would be ideal (typically Thursday evening). If possible, the person would be flexible so could help out extra during school holidays. If the person wanted to live in we would ask for assistance during the mornings as well.
The person must be a non-smoker and have excellent English preferably with experience of teaching and assisting young children with homework.
If the above is of interest, please get in touch.
