Hey, We're a German-Canadian family of four. I'm German, my husband is Canadian with German roots (he's an English native speaker). Our daughter is six, she just started school. Our son is four in August, he is attending a local kindergarten. They're both creative and active. They understand English, but usually answer in German. There are no pets, but lots of animals in the forest. We live in a large house in a tiny village by a lake. The national park with lakes and forest start right by our house. If you love swimming, SUP, hiking, cycling,... this is the perfect place. There's an option to live in a good sized, self contained, one bedroom apartment in the ground floor of the house. If you'd rather not live alone, it's also possible to have an own area that is connected to the main house. Anyone who lives here needs to appreciate nature more than cities, because there's lots of nature. The closest cities are about 25-35min drive away. You can only get there by car, so you need to be able to drive.
