I prefer an au pair who are already in Denmark,

Hey there, we are very much hoping you will be interested in becoming our Au Pair. We are a social, busy household located in a Aarhus suburb with 15 minutes with train ride to central Aarhus. We have 3 warm and engaged children who are all very excited to meet and get to know you and enjoy your involvement in their lives. We live on a closed road in a new house with a nicely kept garden and views of the forest and lake. We would be very interested in learning about you, the things you might enjoy doing with the children, the food you are particularily good at cooking and how you might fit into a family like ours.

We are a warm, dual language (English and Danish), busy and fun loving family of four and one cat:

Vincent, who is 9 and in Year 3, loves football and skating and laughs and loves a lot.

Scarlett, who is 12 and in Year 6, loves watching Friends and doing flips on the trampoline and is a warm and creative girl.

Aston, who is 13 and in Year 7, loves learning and exploring the outside and is an intelligent and enquisitative boy who loves asking questions and steeling time to spend on his phone and iPad.

Kamma, who is 46, an Occupational Psychologist, who works part-time as a consultant, and when around enjoys the children, the gym and chilling with friends and family.
Your main responsibility in the family will be the children's welfare, their things (i.e. room, clothes, stuff etc), their nutrition (i.e. food, juices, snacks etc) and their learning as well as the general household keeping. This will include the daily routine morning and evening, general tidying the house, washing, cleaning, cooking and baking. You will be expected to work about 30 hours a week on average, plus potential but very rare weekend babysitting. We do like things just-so, so it is important that you are a responsible, trustworthy, efficient and exacting person, but given our always changing schedules, flexibility and willingness to chip in, would be your most important qualities.

In return for your help and flexibility we will put you up in style, give your the freedom to roam and support you to explore our rich country, have your friends visit with you and develop both your English and your Danish language skills and enjoy your weekends without work.
