DENMARK CALLING
Will you be our 3rd au pair?
We are a family with eight members seeking an au pair as of August 2020. We are Mads (dad), Natasha (mum), Phillip (age 18), Alberte (age 16), Mathilde (age 5), Ludvig (age 4), Benedikte (age 2.5), and our latest and final addition, baby boy (age 1 month).
Mads is working in banking and finance in the Copenhagen area. Natasha is working in politics, and during the day mostly from at home, and will as much as possible bring our baby boy to meetings.
Phillip and Alberte are attending college, Mathilde is starting school this August, and Ludvig and Benedikte are in kindergarden part time.
We live in a pleasant house in a small town called Ramløse in Gribskov Kommune, approx. 40 minutes from Copenhagen. Our house has a great outdoor pool and a lovely garden for the kids to play in. The closest city is Helsinge, approximately 5 minutes away.
About us: We are a happy family, loud, occasionally slightly crazy, and pretty relaxed about most things. We are looking for an active, additional member of our family who is able to give us a helping hand in our everyday life, e.g. with housekeeping,cooking, looking after our 3 youngest kids, or whatever may be needed to make everything work out.
In our house, you will be given a room of your own, as we expect you to live with us. Wifi, various (tv) streaming services, and reasonable phone expenses will be paid for you. In addition, we will pay you a monthly salary in accordance with Danish law. Moreover, you will, in general, not have to work during weekends, unless we make specific agreements about it, and other than that you will be a full-grown member of our family in our everyday life.
We expect you to have completed elementary school, and you are at least 18 years of age.
We prefer that you are already in Denmark or from a Nordic/European country. As a person, you are pleasant, easy-going and responsible, and you are able to cope with an occasionally tight and busy family schedule.
You love kids and love to PLAY and do creative things with our children. Mathilde is almost fluent in English, Ludvig and Benedikte understand a lot, but doesn't speak that much English yet.
