GUNVOR

Hi! We are a family of 4 located in Copenhagen, Denmark looking for an au pair from October. Dad, Frederik is 36, mom Gunvor is 35, and our two boys Anker and Holger are 4 and 2, and go to day care near our house. We are both classical musicians - violinists- and because of this we have varying work times and concerts some nights a week. Gunvor plays in the Danish Radio symphony orchestra and Frederik travels a lot with his ensemble the Danish String Quartet. Sometimes we are both working a lot and in those periods you would be a lifeline for us. Other times one or both of us are home a lot and in those periods we would enjoy having you join us for cosy trips and activities with our kids. We have had a Brazilian au pair live with us very successfully for the last two years and we are looking for someone to continue helping us with both housework and watching our kids. We live in a house in Valby which is about a 15 min bike ride from the central Copenhagen. We are very friendly, laugh a lot, listen to a lot of Music- all kinds!- and would like to find someone who easily fits into our family. It is important for us that you are independent, used to taking initiative and that you are open to studying and learning the danish language so that you can communicate with our kids Anker and Holger. You will live in our house on a separate floor so you have plenty of privacy. You are welcome to Join us on vacations and trips and when possible we will invite you for concerts :) We need you to take part in the family and help us out in the daily routine as well as when last minute problems arise regarding watching the kids. Our jobs are demanding and we need somebody we can collaborate with and count on to help make ends meet, especially when Frederik is traveling. You must speak English well, be a non-smoker and we would like to find someone from a Spanish or English speaking country who has experience taking care of kids.
