We are looking for a wonderful person to join our family as an au pair on a 2 years contract. Preferred starting date: August 2025, as our current au-pair is leaving for Spain. We are a busy family of 4 - Signe (mum), Johan (dad), Caroline 13, and Christopher 10 + 2 x cats. Living in a stand-alone house in the heart of Copenhagen. We need a person (m/f) to join us in our very busy lives and be the glue that holds the day-to-day operations together (cleaning, doing laundry, ironing, doing minor shopping, cooking dinner, etc.). The kids are very independent and you will therefore not be required to "baby-sit" or take them to school, etc., but if you want to play computer games, or do hair and make up, or play card in the afternoons or watch tv-series; they would welcome the company. It is very important to us that you: 1) Like cooking European-style food and able to follow a recipe in English 2) Speak English well 3) Have previous experience as a domestic helper / housekeeper(preferably from previous positions the MiddleEast). 4) Always try to do your best 5) Have a sense of humor. 6) Are honest and upright. 7) Want to experience the Danish culture and be part of the family. We offer an opportunity to be part of a happy and sociable family, with plenty of flexibility allowing you time to travel, go to school, have friend over, etc. Time off every Saturday and Sunday.
