We are a family with 3 young children. We live one hour outside of Melbourne, close to the coast. We have a farm of 40 acres and a lovely, spacious country house with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a 20 metre lap pool with views of the mountain. There is easy public transport via train directly into Melbourne if you want to escape to the city, and many tourist attractions, including beaches, ski resorts, and hiking and camping options and wineries in the area. Also, fluent English is not necessary. We also speak Chinese mandarin in the family so if you know Chinese that would be a bonus but not necessary. You rarely would have to look after all the children by yourself, as our two older kids go to childcare, and I only work 2 days a week. Your duties would include helping to drop off and pick the children, looking after a 9 month old, and helping out at home, with at least one parent at home usually.
