RUTENDO, 21 YEARS

My name is Rutendo Trish Chikumba. My friends call me Trish. I am 20 years old and single. I have no children. I live with my mum, and my sisters in Gweru in Zimbabwe, Southern Africa. My mum is a single parent. I understand my dad left when I was only 2. So I have never met him. After completing my GCSE, I could not go to college because my mum could not afford the fees. My mum runs a market stall which is where she spends the day. My routine involves getting up early when mum leaves for the market. I help my younger sister to prepare for school, escort her to school then return to the house to complete house chores. At 3'00pm I walk down to the primary school to pick up my little sister, In the evening I prepare dinner for the family. Some weekends I go to help mum at the market. I have been trying to raise enough money so I can pay for my studies.
