Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I have recently completed my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) program and would like to resume being an au pair again. My English is of high proficiency as it is my first language. I have a very easy going yet responsible personality. Children need a lot of patience and understanding in order for them to freely express themselves, which are my two strongest qualities. I am kindhearted, adaptable, creative, self motivated and always smiling-something every au pair needs to have :) Au pairing means being away fro home, family and close friends so having a loving family is always a relief. Open communication is vital, if I do something incorrectly it's good to mention that and a way to do the task better in order to have a free, happy and comfortable environment. I worked at a local Kindergarten which helped me gain experience with looking after children as young as one and a half years. I have had the privilege of having au pairing positions both regionally and abroad-two experiences in ITALY (my conversational skills are a bit rustly now but I do understand Italian) . My experience overall is with children whose age range is from 2-14 years. I'd love to be an au pair abroad again because it helps me grow as an individual- learning new cultures, cuisines, observing different lifestyles and most importantly at the end of it all, gaining a new family.
