THI MY HUYEN, 30 YEARS

My name is My Huyen, I am a 22 years old girl from Vietnam. I am currently working as an au pair for a Dutch Family in the Nederland. My contract ends by the end of June 2016. From my stay in the Nederland I have heard and read many positive things about Denmark, and would therefore like to seek an opportunity as an au pair at a Danish family. I hope to get the opportunity to learn more about the Danish happiness and culture.

I am good taking care of children and make them feel safe. My Dutch family describe me as a very responsible and good at sticking to the plan. One of my best characteristics is my tolerance and respect of your family. I have much patience; I trained these skills during my current jobs. It is not always easy to take care of children, but I enjoy spending some time with them.

My current au pair responsibilities include dropping and picking up my host family's girl at the nursery school. My tasks also include preparing food for her, and take care and to look after her until 4 o’clock in the afternoon, where the parent returns from work. When I am not taking care of my host family’s girl, I have some housekeeping duties too.

It is a dream of mine to go to Denmark and if I can combine it with a wonderful and interesting job: to care for your children that would be perfect.
