JOSÉ, 24 YEARS

Dear Host Family, thank you for taking the time to read my application as an Au Pair. My name is Jose and I'm 22 years old. I'm living with my parents and my sister in Caicara del Orinoco, which is a small city in the south of Venezuela, where I'm also attending a college institution and graduating with a 3 year bachelor degree in civil construction in June 2022. I was born and raised in a spanish speaking country and I've never spent time abroad before but I'm confident about getting used to it. My main goals to achieve would be being able to become fluent in german and gain new skills that make me less codependent. I believe Germany to be the perfect choice for me since I've been trying to learn about the language and the culture and it's been incredibly engaging so far. I am what is called a natural introvert. I love spending time by myself doing my favorite things like listening to music and reading books. I don't believe myself to be demanding, spoiled or anything like that because I'm always happy to learn. Living with me is really easy as I'm not the kind of person that tends to disobey the rules of the house but if there's any issue you can rest assured that I will always prefer to talk things through instead of ignoring. I'm pretty great with kids I would say. I'm one of the oldest in my generation of a extended family so I've had quality time when taking care of my little cousins. I spend time with them frequently and they seem to like me. I guess I always find a way to connect :). I would love to become your next Au Pair and being like a big brother for your children.
