GABRIELA, 33 YEARS

Dear Family,
My name is Gaby (28). I am from Venezuela. I love learning languages and I am interested in getting to know different cultures. Taking care of kids comes natural for me. I have experienced as Au Pair (currently working for a Dutch family) and also I took care of my little brother since he was a baby. I truly love being around with children. I also love cooking!
Last summer I obtained a certificate in Pedagogy, before moving to Europe to works as Au Pair. Also I have done two studies: Fashion and Visual Arts. I design and make bags and dresses.

I am a patience, friendly and honest. My friends tell me that I am a very good listener and thoughtful person. I take responsibilities very seriously and I love to take care of others.

I come from a very happy and very closed family with numerous aunties, cousins and a lovely grandmother. My parents are music teachers. In my family we celebrate birthdays joyfully: singing and sometimes dancing. The latin spirit is very present :-)


Currently I am working as Au Pair in The Netherlands. I am taking care of two girls (4 and 7). I love doing activities together like handcrafting, cooking and singing. In the house I also help preparing meals, doing laundry and other domestic activities.

During the weekends and on my free time I enjoy cycling in Amsterdam and visiting museums and exhibitions.
I truly love cooking. I have learned to prepare many new dishes and I have enjoyed that very much. Sweet or salty my family loves what I cook.

I am sure my current host family is really pleased with my work. I have arrived in September 2018 and my contract will be finished in the summer this year (2019). Here in the Netherlands is not allow to renew the contract of Au Pair and therefore I am looking for a new family outside The Netherlands.
