SARANYA, 33 YEARS

Dear Host family,

My name is Saranya or you can call me Ranya. I graduated from Japanese major, Suansunandha Rajabhat University. I am responsible, patient, active, joyful, friendly and honest. I like gathering more experiences as much as I can. I’m an open mind girl who wants to learn a new thing. In addition, when I have free time, I do many activities such as playing sport, reading, cooking, watching movie and etc. For the sport activities, Badminton is the most favorite of me which I go to the court twice a week. For reading, I love to spend the free time reading many kinds of books especially Chinese Martial Arts novels. Not only reading novel, I could also write a novel too. I always enjoy to take care children and on the other hand, children love spending time with me also.

I have trained about taking care of children, CPR, First-Aid, Child development and daily routine for take care of children. Moreover, I would like to give you some examples about my responsibility when I looked after them.

Beginning with my experiences from nursery center (over 420 hours), I have assigned to take care the kids age 7 month - 3 year old.My major duty was daily routine take care of children.I cooked and fed them lunch, took them for a nap, bathed, dressed and consoled them when they cried.

The second experiences is from my mom’s friend and my ex-colleague (over 550 hours). Age of children is between five - twelve years old. My duty for this experience is more than taking care of toddles at my nursery as the children was in the elementary education, so I taught them about their homework. Furthermore, I made an easy experiment by using material and tools in the kitchen.
And after that I went to USA and stayed there for 2 years for aupair and now currently I’m an aupair in Netherlands.

There are many reasons why I would like to become an Au-pair. First of all, I am enjoying working with the children. I really happy when I see a pure smile, laugh together and see the development of my children. Secondly, I hope that I would get this chance to be a part of this program in order to gain more experience about childcare in the difference culture and environment.Thirdly, I expect to improve my language with native speaker. The last one, It is a great opportunity to explore the big world, the difference culture and unfamiliar conditions.
