JARIYA, 34 YEARS

My name is Jariya. For short, please call me “Noon". or Jay I would describe myself as hard –working, responsible, patient, and tolerant. I am a caring, helpful and a friendly person. I have an ability to work under pressure, which is a very important thing when I work with children since each child has different characters. In my free time, I like gardening with my grandmother and help her with her cooking. I also love to travel and explore places in my country and another countries as well, I like walking around the city to see how people life in different countries. I have visited countries around Thailand before. For instance, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos. I was really impressed with how beautiful the country was and how friendly the people were. I sometimes do volunteering such as be a volunteer teacher and play with orphan kids. I am able to ride a bike and live in household pets. I could speak Thai as it’s my native language and I’m learning an English as well. I’m trying to improve my English skills.
About my family ,my parents broke up when I was young. Even though, I come from a divorced family, I never feel as like my family is “Broken”. I grew up in a big family , including my mother, my grandmother, my sister, my aunt, my cousin, my nieces, my nephew and I. My mother works at the college of the blind and the deaf person. She is very kind, nice and very patience person. My family teaches me good values like how to behave, to respect other people, and to share with other people .I have one younger sister. She has two daughters. I have been taking care of 5 children in my family since they were born , help their parents to look after ,take care of the children and cook for them when their parents were busy .
About my childcare experience, I have trained at The Brain School for more than 200 hours. I helped with taking care of around 30 children aged between 1-8 years old. My responsibilities were assisting children to learn, assisting teacher to prepare resources for the classroom, playing with children, as well as preparing meals for them. I think the children are truly special and blessing. They do not want anything in return if you just give them love and care; they are just a special thing in the world that will make you laugh and smile. This is why I love them and I enjoy taking care of them no matter ages they are. I also was trained about first aids and the CPR training for children because keeping the child safe is the first priority. After I have learnt many things from the school, I think I am happy when the kids are around. Therefore, I am confident that I can be a good au pair.
