NAREUMON, 35 YEARS

Dear Host Family;

My name is Nareumon Ritthaprom. For short, please call me “Nah”. I’m 29 years old from Thailand. I was born in Buriram province, which is in the Northeastern part of Thailand. There are five people in my family, My father is a teacher, he is good head of our family. My mother is self-employed with curry paste (Red Curry Paste, Green Curry Paste, Panang Curry Paste, Orange Curry Paste), she is nice person. My older sister, 31 years old, she studying for a Masters of Public health at Mahidol University and my younger sister, 28 years old, she help self-employed of my mother. We all love each other very much. We usually do a lot of different things together. We have two dogs. My most important qualifications is good attention and patience, when I start to do anything I will go on until the job is done. I am easy going. I can get along with anybody. I enjoy doing fun activities during my free time. I love cooking, especially Thai food and dessert. I enjoy crafts and watching movies. I make time for exercising always such as swimming, cycling and jogging. I spend my holiday and vacation with my family to travel everywhere. I have driver’s license for 8 years, I can drive manual transmission and automatic transmission, since I started to drive a car, I have never been having a car accident.

I graduated with the Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration of Management Science from Silpakorn University in March 2012. During my university years, I have participated work and travel program in the USA for 3 months. After my graduation, I worked as General Administration Officer at Department of Industry Promotion for 1 years. In next year, I worked as Coordinator Office of International Cooperation at Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) for 9 months. After end one's contract, I moved back to hometown to help self-employed of my mother. In addition, I worked a part-time job during study and work, I am tutor of children, teach for homework, Thai language, English, math.

About my childcare experience, I’m preparing myself to be an au pair. I was trained at Watbanyang (Choykururajbamrung) School for 300 hours, of 32 children, aged 3 to 6 years old and trained at Child Care Development Center Kokmakham Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Buriram Province for 200 hours, of 34 children, aged 2 to 4 years old. My responsibilities, I lead them a lot more activities with children, teaching alphabets, numbers, phonic sound, learning different things from pictures, drawing, painting, coloring, crafting, singing, dancing, exercising. Besides I take care girls of my cousin, aged newborn to 7 years old. I feeding them with a spoon, bathing, changing diapers, telling stories, putting them to bed and other worked practices as assigned. In addition, I was trained childcare program for nannies and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) at Bangkok Nanny Center. I was trained about basic life support and first aid for children, because keeping children safe is the first priority.

I like to do activities with children. I love that feeling I get when I see them smile and laugh. To enough experience with children I confident I will do fine. I determined to be a good an au pair, I would like to learn to do things which I never could do before. I would like to learn about life, learn about culture, new experience, language practice, meet new friends, the activities with children and host family and a lot more other things than I can say. For being an au pair to help learn and understand life of children. In the future, I may be to work with children. When to responsible for this duty so important that need to have the appropriate experience and reliability. Being an au pair is good, must be love working with children, responsible, have patience, flexibility. This will make happy all of the time as an au pair.

I’ve been an au pair in Sweden from June 2017 to present. After finishing an au pair program, I will return back to my home country. I’m interest work with children.
