ALBA, 22 YEARS

Dear Future Host Family, I'm Alba, I'm 20 years old. I am from Toledo, Spain. I was born in Madrid. I grew up in this sunny and quiet place, with many good people. I live here with my parents, Nuria and Francis, and my older brother Dani. I have been in a choir since I was very young. It has given me the opportunity to meet many people from different places. Being away from home and dealing with very different people has helped me mature and grow as a person. I have learned to be more patient, tolerant and I am able to communicate better to resolve misunderstandings. What can I say about myself? I am a responsible, pleasant, creative and empathic girl. I like to spend quality time with my family, friends and also with my pets. I am a person who wants to do many things, I like to discover new things: people, places, cultures. I like to travel, I think it's a good way to meet new people if you travel alone or you could get to know your friends better if you travel with them. I like to sing or anything creative. I love to play guitar, piano, take photos and watch movies. Regarding my experience with children, I am a leisure and free time monitor, I have worked in a summer camp and in a toy library with Save the children. We do many activities, such as crafts or games. We teach them values ​​such as responsibility, respect for others and nature, sharing, thanking and loving. The reason why I decided to do this is the pleasure of living an adventure in another country in a family environment, which I really value. I am very excited about this opportunity, I know that living with your children and with you, in a different country, will increase my personal experience and I will learn a lot.
