MICAELA, 22 YEARS

hi family! I have been willing to do this experience since i was young so i´m really looking foward to it! Dear family, thank you for seeing my profile! I am 19 years old and I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have spanish passport as well as argentinian. I love being outside, travelling and hanging out with friends and family. I have a big family including my grandparents, uncles and cousins. I have 12 cousins ​​between 5 and 14 years old and we always enjoy playing together. I am the oldest cousin so i have been babysitting them since i was very young, I'm always taking care of them and having fun with them. I have also been babysitting children from my school since i was 16 years old. Personally, i belive being an au pair would be an awesome experience in every aspect. I get on really well with children, I get to learn about your culture and improve my englishs skills as well as I am willing to learn a new language. Also meeting people from different parts of the world! I would love to be part of a loving family. I know how to prepare simple meals, do household chores, ride a bike, swim and drive a car. Mica MY PERSONALITY Talking about me, i am respectful, easy going and energetic person. I love being around family and friends. I am sociable, i love meeting new people and sharing amazing memories. I'm very responsible and organized. I am very curious, and i always like to learn new things! I am very open and I adapt very quickly. MY FAMILY We are a family of five, my mum is 49 and my dad is 51 and both of them work from monday to friday. My Mum is called Liliana and my dad is call Gerardo. I have one sister call Aylen, she is 17, and one brother call Maximo, who is 16. Both of them attend to the same school i had gone. We also have a dog called Ita! We are very close. I also have my uncles, grandparents and cousins ​​who are very close to me. We love spending time together, we hang out all the time. We love cooking, playing cards and games outside. In summer we spend together almost everyday and we play at my grandmothers pool. About my friends, i enjoy being with them, we spend a lot of time together and share many things such as school, sports, trips, shows, festivals and many more! MY INFORMATION I finished secondary school in 2019. I have been learning english for almost all my life. In secondary i learned french, but i know very little and i would love to improve it, but i am open to learning new languages! I did Trinity College London Certificate Exam and two Diplôme d´études en Langue Français Now i am studing architecture in Buenos Aires University. MY FREE TIME In my free time i like being with family and friends. I like going shopping, cinema, walking or visiting new places. I really enjoy listening to music, reading, baking and watching films and series in netflix. I love travelling and being outside. I used to do pilates, but because of the pandemic i stoped. MY EXPERIENCE WITH CHILDREN Regarding childcare, I am the biggest cousin so i have always taken care of my cousins since i was little. I also have experience with a 3 year old boy and a 6 year old girl that went to my school that i have done babysitting for 3 years. The tasks i had were to play with them, go for walks when the day was nice, help them with their homework, go for bike rides, among other things. Apart from that, i had participate in a school trip where we travel to Chaco province, here in Argentina, where we get to create activities for younger kids and play with them for a hole week. I have always been and i am always in touch with children from all ages, and i really enjoy it! MY KNOWLEDGE OF LANGUAGES My native language is spanish. Since i was in kinder i have been learing english. I have a B2 level of English and a A2 level of French, that i would like to improve. I usually read, and watch all films and series in english so i can keep improving. I did an exchange trip for two weeks to England where I learnt and perfected my English. I lived with a native couple from England and comunicated perfectly. MY MOTIVATION TO BE AN AU PAIR I want to be an au pair for many reansons! I love spending time with children because I learn a lot from them. I would also love to know new cultures, meet new people and to improve my english and french. I also like the idea of beeing more independant, so that i can grow up in a personal way. Another motivation for me is travellig and knowing new places since is one of my biggest dreams and something i have been wanting to do for all my life!
