ANNA, 32 YEARS

Dear family,

My name is Anna Cristina Donés, 26 years old. Although I was born in Girona, a little city located in the north of Spain (which you might known because of Game of Thrones), I currently live in Barcelona, the second main city of the country. I come from a family of 3, just my parents and I but I have 4 younger cousins which I took care since birth. They are aged from 17 to 7 years old.

My first language is Spanish but I also speak Catalan, English and Portuguese fluently. Consequently, I learnt the basics of Korean, German, Russian and Italian since I studied Translation in University. However, as time passed by, I realised that my vocation was being a teacher. This year, I am finishing my master's degree to become an English Teacher, therefore, I would like to take this chance to get to know more cultures and live many wonderful experiences before starting my working career once and for all.

As far as preferences are concerned, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me stay with and work for them from 6 to 12 months. I would also prefer looking after children aged between 5 months to 15 years . Lastly, although I am flexible and if possible, I would like to have some time or the opportunity to earn some money doing extra things or attend a language course.

I would be happy to have the opportunity to speak with you: to answer whatever questions you may have about me or my childcare experiences; to learn more about your family; your interests and to know more about what you expect from the au pair arrangement.
