ENARA, 28 YEARS

Hi family!

I am a girl from the Basque Country, in the north of Spain, who loves travelling, learning about other cultures and of course, meeting new people. In my opinion, meeting new people means growing as a person as I always learn something from the others. No matter if they are the oldest or the youngest of the family.
About myself...I am a very optimistic person who always tries to find the positive aspects of everything. I love listening to what people have to say about different issues although I may not always agree with them; and I consider myself very respectful and pacient when it comes to baring with things I dont like.

I am very active, I have played football (soccer) and volleyball. I play the violoncello (I dont play that much anymore due to different circumnstances) and I also love taking pictures :)

I have to say that althought I love being with my family, I like new experiences so much that I have spent 10 months studying in the United States (when I was 16) and I studied as an Erasmus student in Copenhagen for 5 years. It just gives me so much joy to discover new things. Before taking those bigs steps, I have spent one month in Dublin in 2009 and another month in Drogheda, Ireland in 2010. Such a beautiful country.

I finish my degree on Teaching Education last June and came back to Copenhagen as an au pair last august. Im learning Danish!! :)

I come from the Basque Country, which has its own language "Basque or Euskera". Therefore, I speak Basque, Spanish and English.
There are thousands of reasons why I would like to work as an au pair but there are three main reasons:

1. I have always liked children and I have been very good at dealing with them. I am very loving and quite creative, therefore, it is difficult that we get bored. However, besides being loving and funny, I know where the limit is and if they do things that are not right, I have learned techniques to try to correct it.

2. I am just finished the Education Teaching (børnehave lærer)degree and this would be a great help as a professional preparation. Even though I am 100% sure that this is a job that I love, it is always better to try things that come close to it before taking the big step of immersing yourself in a school.

3. The desire to know another way of life. I am very used to seeing how children are raised in my country. Of course, each family has its own ways and traditions but sometimes, you find something that suits your life style and you want to bring it back home so that other people can learn from it.
