FELIPE, 21 YEARS

I am a person who is characterized by being calm, responsible, committed, disciplined, charismatic, friendly, passionate about knowledge and empathetic enough to be a person who can be trusted.
Physically I am a young man with a few centimeters below the average height in Colombia with a height of 1.65 cm and a weight of 57 kg.
One of my biggest dreams is to have the opportunity to travel around the world, to know different cultures, to learn their languages, to visit beautiful places where I can feel calm and alive, and to share my culture and experiences of this diverse country.
After finishing my high school, I entered the following year, that is, year 2020, to AFA of Colombia; an air training academy where I am currently in the third semester of cabin crew technician; a career that generated an immense illusion in its beginnings, being a stepping stone to reach what will be my ultimate goal, to be a Commercial Aviation Pilot.
When I have little free time, I like to do small activities that make the time more enjoyable, mostly manual activities, as I am a very creative person. I like to draw, paint and create.
Also, when I have more free time, I love to ride my bike. About 1 year ago, I had the opportunity to buy a bike, on which I do rides (sometimes long, sometimes short) almost every weekend. My longest ride has been to a town in Colombia called La Vega, being this a ride with a duration of more than 5 hours and a distance of 70 kilometers. I really like riding a bike because of the power it has to make me feel calm and at peace; it is not a sport in which there are mostly conflicts with any other person, on the contrary, it offers the possibility to meet many more cyclists with an excellent kindness and able to help when someone needs it.
Another of my favorite sports is Soccer, the sport I have lived with all my life. From a very young age, my family instilled in me the love for this sport, always being a fan of Atletico Nacional, one of the best soccer teams in my country. My dream was always to be a professional soccer player, but the passing of the years and the lack of opportunities that are offered in my country, did not lead me to fulfill it, for that reason I stopped practicing it in a professional way, to practice it for pure fun.
Something that I am focusing on recently, is swimming, because it is a sport with a great physical demand, taking at all times the body to the limit of its capabilities, something that I am personally passionate about; feel that the body does not give more, but have to demand to achieve a purpose. I have only been practicing it for a few weeks, but it is a sport that I like more and more every day.
I have always had a really good relationship with children. Since I was little I have liked the idea of taking care of my little cousins and other family members. A few months ago I had the great opportunity to work in a kindergarten, where I live daily with a huge number of children of various ages and of course, different personalities.
I hope to have the possibility to quickly get along with you, to gain your trust completely and to take care of your little children on a daily basis.
I would like my host family to be above all an understanding family, as it is not easy for anyone to arrive in another country, with a different culture, a different language and to adapt in a matter of days. I would like to have the opportunity to be part of your family for a few months, to receive a pleasant treatment, as if I were one of your children.
