ABOUT YOUR NEW AU PAIR TO BE
Dear Family
Family
I have quite a lot of siblings. My mom and father unfortunately did not marry each other. But my mother did get married to a great man and gave me three younger brothers and on my Fathers side I have six siblings but I grew up more with my siblings from my mother’s side.
Experience abroad
I had a great opportunity to go to New York and Boston in 2014. That was my first time ever abroad and loved it so much, it made me want to see more of the world.
About me
I am adventurous, dependent young lady, who loves to try new things, travel and meeting new people. I talk a lot sometimes a-bit to much.
But I can be shy when I’m not use to people, I literally run out of words.
Me in a nutshell:
Tough-mindedness. I am practical, logical, and to-the-point, low in sentimental attachments and comfortable with criticism. I am insensitive to hardship and very poised.
Conscientiousness. I am dominated by a sense of duty and tend to be very exacting in character. I have a very high standard of excellence and an inward desire to do my best. I have a need for order and very self-disciplined.
Dominance. Often times I am competitive and decisive and usually I enjoy overcoming obstacles. I am assertive in my thinking style as well as my attitude in dealing with others
Social boldness. I am spontaneous risk-takers, socially aggressive and generally thick-skinned. I am very responsive to others and high in emotional stamina.
Emotional stability. I am able to tolerate frustration and stress, well-adjusted and have the psychological maturity to deal with anything I am required to face.
Enthusiasm. I am active, expressive, energetic, very optimistic and open to change. I am generally quick and alert and tend to be uninhibited
What I know for sure about children
There is greatness in every child. We need to nurture that character from a very young age. As adults we need to help children to make better choices every day from a tender age so that they can develop better habits. This will build better character as they add value and attract bigger and better opportunities which will bring them bigger and better reward in future. Adults tend to look at children as just children and that is wrong. Children need to be listened to and given attention, to be shown affection, support for their development. They need to be respected and to be allowed to express their own thoughts, beliefs and feelings no matter what age they are. I believe I can meet the social, intellectual and emotional needs of a child.
I have learnt so much about children from my family, Volunteering in a children’s camp, volunteering in kindergarten and currently part of a program that help children from the age of 6-7 learn how to read and write. I have learnt and still learning how children reason, what they like, what they don’t like, how they act when they need attention etc. I love neon around them and giving the best of me to them.
