OBARSKAIA, 27 YEARS

Liebe Gastfamilie,
I heiße Tatiana und ich bin 21 Jahre alt. Ich komme aus Russland und ich lebe in Moskau. Ich habe eine Ausbildung gemacht. Ich bin Physikerin von Beruf, aber im Moment arbeite ich nicht.
Meine Familie ist klein. Wir sind drei, meine Mutter, meine Schwester und ich.
Ich spreche ein bisschen Deutsch aber ich verstehe Deutsch gut. Ich habe einen Kurs A1 gemach und ich will wirklich Deutsch lernen. Ich spreche gut English.
Ich habe viele Hobbys, zum Beispiel, Sport und Lesen. I jogge dreimal in der Woche und photografiere sehr oft. Ich habe zwei Jahre als Mathematiklehrer und zwei Monate als Kindersporttrainer gearbeitet.

Dear host family,
my name is Tatiana. I am from Russia and live in Moscow. Since my childhood I have always wanted to help people, embrace different cultures and discover unknown places around the world. Now I am 21 years old and my strong wish still the same - helping people all around the world. As I have finished my bachelor degree in the field of Fundamental Physics this summer I am going to take a gap year to make my wish true.
I was thinking a lot about what I can do in this year. And all my ideas were very different: learn English and German, travel, work, help people, meet new friends, save some money and so on. But the only job which unite all of these ideas is an Au Pair. So, I decided to try myself as an Au Pair abroad and I would like to spend 6-10 months working.
My family is not very big: just my mother, my sister and I. My sister is 23. We don't live together, but we always meet on weekends or holidays and spend a lot of time talking about everything. Sometimes we go out to a theater or a cinema together. On summer we often go to Saint-Petersburg to spend some time with our grandparents and help them with a garden. I love my family.
I think I am a protean person that is why I have a few hobbies. Right now, I am finishing my make-up course at Mary Kay cosmetics. I love taking pictures with my camera, especially pictures of people around me and their pets. Photography is my big passion, that is why I started to learn Photoshop online by myself. It is so exciting that you can learn so much with the Internet! My other beloved activity is sport. I personally love doing sports. Since my childhood I have been going to an acrobatics club. In summer I usually go running to a nearest park or go to a gym. I love traveling and usually organize all trips by myself. Last year I travelled all the way from Berlin to Paris through Munich and Brussel. It was so exciting!
I live with my mother and we have different duties about our flat. My mom spends a lot of time at work, so I cook breakfast, lunch and dinner wash the dishes, clean kitchen and my own room. Usually I cook scrambled eggs for breakfast, noodles fried with vegetables and chicken for lunch and a salad for dinner. It is okay for me to cook for a host family, but I am not very much experienced with different recipes (but I have heard from my friends that fried chicken made by me is very tasty). By the way I will be happy to share few recipes of Russian cuisine.
My first experience taking care of children was at my summer camp in Bulgaria. I was 17 and we had different age groups of children (from 7 to 17). As I was the oldest child in my group in few days I found myself working with camp-leaders on organizational work for competitions. We helped children to discover their talents in singing, dancing, acrobatics and different team-building plays. As children were far from their families, they missed parents, but we did a great job getting them involved in intellectual quizzes, Shakespeare plays, film-making process to help them feel more independent and become more creative.
I have some experience working as a second trainer at my acrobatics club when I was 18. I had been training a group of children of 4-7 years for a few months. While the main trainer was showing different exercises to children I helped them to repeat everything. We were controlling that everything and everyone was safe.
Since I started my second year of university I have become a tutor. Because of a strong school and university background I am able to help children with school tests preparation, understanding of subjects, doing their homework. I have been tutoring math and physics for more than two years already helping children of different ages to develop their mindset for analytical thinking and I guess I had achieved good results in this. Moreover, I think that I can be helpful not only in math and physics, but in literature, Russian and German languages, art and other different subjects.
I would like to be in not a very big family with 1 or 2 children who are older than 3 years old. I would read them fairy tales or help with reading their first book, take them for a walk or for dancing, go cycling or skating, help them with their homework and be a friend to them. I would prefer family which loves and different activities outside their house, which is open-minded and okay to share their opinion on something. I imagine my host family funny and hospitable, friendly and active. I would prefer family from which I can learn about culture, traditions language (English, German).
