IRINA, 35 YEARS

Dear family,

My name is Irina. I am a Russian 28 year old girl originally from Kazakhstan. I have a Bachelor Degree in Translation (English-Russian). I worked as an Au Pair in Denmark for about 2 years (2014- 2016). I think I can mention my best traits of character such as kindness, compassion, and cheerfulness. I love open-minded and kind people with a good sense of humor. And I do my best to be such a person too=). I love all kinds of animals, especially dogs. In fact, I love cooking. So I finished some cooking courses. I love mostly to cook European and Middle Eastern cuisine, but I like to have a variety of experiments with food=)

As a university student I had a part time job as an English teacher at primary school and I was a Tutor (I helped children to do their Maths, History, Russian, and English homework). After graduation (English-Russian translation faculty) I was a live-in nanny for 3 year old girl in Turkey for 6 months in 2014. It was a wonderful first experience to be a live-in nanny. My duties were to take care of the child, make her life safe, fun, interesting as well as educational, teach English and basic maths, feed according to parents' orders and time tables, follow all instructions and recommendations, and do household chores. After that I worked as an Au Pair in Denmark since December 2014 till August 2016. I was an Au Pair in a Danish-Russian family with 2 kids (8 and 9 years old) for 10 months. My duties were to take children to school and pick them up from school by bicycle, cook and feed them, prepare them to school, teach them Russian, help them with homework. Moreover, my duties were to take care and feed animals , do household chores, do the laundry and the ironing, tend the gardena bit, and cooking. Moreover, I worked in another Danish-Canadian family, I took care of the teenager, a boy at the age of 15. My main duties were to take care of him especially while parents are away and control him, make him ready for school, help him with all possible issues, and as well as take care of the house including cleaning, ironing , and cooking.

To get to know me better I can describe my hobbies and interests. I like reading and traveling. I mostly prefer to broaden my mind in such regions of human sciences as History, Psychology, and Politics. When I have free time I am eager to spend it with my family and friends. I love to travel and explore new places, get to know new cultures, and make new friends.

I would like to be an Au Pair again, because I love children and I love to see their progress in studies and in life in general. I feel I am really useful there. Moreover, it is a good opportunity to get to know another culture and people very well as well as establish nice and friendly relations. I will be happy to use my knowledge of English, skills, and work experience with children to do my best to be a great caregiver for children as well as a nice housekeeper, and not a bad cook.
