MARIZ, 33 YEARS

Dear Host Family,

Let me first introduce myself, my name is Mariz from Cagayan, Philippines. I was born on December 15, 1990. My father passed away and my mother is a small store owner. I have 4 boy siblings and I am the youngest and the only girl. In March 2013, I graduated college. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I am sweet, caring, honest, outgoing, hardworking and responsible with good sense of humor. I am patient when it comes to kids. You can rely to me to work with initiative. I enjoy nature and I don’t mind being around with animals. My hobbies are biking to exercise and cooking different Filipino dishes like Adobo, Sinigang, Nilaga and many more and also I would love to learn how to cook food that you are eating at your home. I would like to be an au pair because I am eager to explore Europe and meet a host family wherein I can render my excellent service and in return, I would be able to know their culture, see new places in their country and chance to learn how to speak their language. I know that being an au pair will be one of my great lifetime experiences.

I am working as a servant in Philippines for two years. Since the parents have work, my domestic duties are to always keep the whole house clean and make sure that I always take good care of their kids. They have two children-1 girl (4 years old) and 1 boy (3 years old). My daily routines are as follows: tidying, vacuuming, changing bed linens, cooking meals for morning, afternoon and evening, setting the table and clean up after eating, wash used dishes, take the garbage out, wash used clothes, drying and then ironing and folding clothes and put them into cabinets. When it comes to kids, they are still not studying, so when they wake up in the morning, I feed, bathe and groom them. I enjoy playing with them, they love playing their toys like barbie and robot and playing games like hide and seek. In the afternoon, I let them to take a nap. They also like playing with the kids of our neighbors and sometimes I take them for a walk to go to park and to playground so they can meet new playmates. In the evening, some babysitting and I bring them to bed to sleep. I am always available for the family every time they need my help.

I am looking for a host family who needs an extra pair of hands to help them in terms of housework and looking after their children.
