MELISSA, 32 YEARS

Dear Family,
I am Melissa, 26, from Philippines. I would love to apply as an Au pair and be a part of your family. I live in the Province of Capiz. To be honest Ma’am/Sir, I don’t have working  experience as an Au pair but I assure you that I do have experience in taking care of a child. While my sisters are at work or out of town,  I take care of my nephew Zeddrick who turned 12 last January 12. I have been taking care of him since he was a baby. Sometimes I take him to school or pick him up. I help him with his school homeworks and projects. We love watching movies and cartoons.  We also love watching music videos because we love to sing. I’ve taught him to respect others and to be always helpful. I adore children. As a matter of fact, I let kids in our area play in our house with my nephew and most of the time I join them. I enjoy being them and teaching them. I also do household chores. I am very organized and clean.
   As of the moment I take care of my 80 years old grandmother while searching for families.
I think being an Au pair is not just about knowing how to take care of children. It’s about being committed on your responsibilities and loving what you do.
I may not have an experience being an Au pair but I believe that I have the capabilities to be one. And I hope that you’ll give me the chance to work with you and be a part of your family. I promise to do my best to give your children the love and care they deserve.
