KATHLENE, 34 YEARS

Hi to my future Host Family,

I’m currently working as Receptionist in the Philippines. I am a type person who takes seriously of what I do with love and dedication.
I come from a family of nine and my father Wilfredo is a family driver and my mother Rosalie is a cook. I’m the oldest sibling, I have 6 siblings ages 23(Jhon), 21 ( Bryan), 18(Grace), 10(Kelvin), 9( AJ), 7(Miguel). I regularly help my mother with the cooking and housework. I am trained by my mother and grandmother to do household chores and cooking.
I’m very found of kids and I love taking care of them because of the joy they give you when they giggle because of happiness it’s like music to my ear and it breaks my heart every time I see a child crying. I’ve look after children between the ages of new born to 12 years old. I have many first hand experiences in taking good care of children, I am very used to being around children and enjoy playing with them. If I have spare time I most likely spend it at home and organize my stuff or I will spend it with my relatives or friends
I realized I have to step up in life because there’s this saying that you only live once. I want to experience, explore and meet new people in the other side of the world. I really want to immerse myself in a new culture and language. I really would like to become an au pair because of the program between host families and the au pairs in the culture exchange system.
I know in myself that I’m capable of being a good au pair for your family because I am sure without a doubt, you will be very happy if you will choose me. I know that parents would like to have an au pair who have genuine concern of their kids and will treat them with love and care and will help you with making your home clean and tidy.
