Dear future host family,

My name is Marian and currently an Au Pair here in Denmark and I'm very much interested in getting to know you further.

I will be ending my contract on January 2017 and taking care of 2 kids which is Ines (4yrs old) and Carl (1yr old since he was a new born)

I am responsible, honest, trustworthy, organized, enthusiastic, outgoing person, knowledge-hungry learner, dependable and eager to meet challenges.

My traits are the following: 1) Interest in children - No doubt how much I love kids. 2) Patience - It takes patience to clean sticky fingers, messes, toys everywhere, homework battles… oh, also crying. Being your Au Pair I need to be prepared that most days will be pretty good. Patience on the hard days will be rewarded when the children put their arms around me and tell how much they love me. 3) Flexibility - It is very important that rules are followed, but that there also needs to be some flexibility. Sometimes schedules change. Sometimes parents are late. Illnesses happen and life is sometimes just crazy. 4) Interest in family - Very keen to get to know my host family and what their stories are.

I am the right person for your family because of the key strengths that I possess which I erudite in my job especially time management, pressure and how to become a team player and how to have excellent people skills. I can apply those strengths how to become your "Au Pair" and I can guarantee you an exceptional contributions.

I graduated from college in 2011, majoring in business management. For the last three years I've been working with the documentation & implementation department at one of the biggest banks in Manila, called RIzal Commercial Banking Corp.
My future plans are taking a masters degree and build my own future abroad and be independent if its possible.

Spending a year with your family would be a great way for me to grow as a person and gain valuable experience. There's a lot to learn from just being in new environments and getting the opportunity to combine that with my interest in child-caring as an au pair feels exciting.

Im fluent in the Filipino language Tagalog, English as well as Danish. When it comes to my experience from children's care I have helped my parents look after my siblings, as an eldest daughter and breadwinner and I have an obligation to do so. There were times that I also took care of my younger cousins with everything that comes with it like diaper change, preparing their milk, washing their clothes and giving baths and taking them to nearest mall.
Back when I was in college I used to watch and teach the pupils of mom's class in grade school from time to time. Also, I used to help my mom to clean the house and basically I am the one who do the laundry (hand-wash) can you imagine we are seven in our family. I also do the major household chores at home, cleaning the house, bathroom, gardening, folding clothes, window cleaning and more.

These various ways of being around in children have affected me positively and I have grown fond of working with the raising of them.
I adore pets, especially dogs. When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life
Being outdoors, spending time with my friends, going for little adventure. I like to be physically active, especially with badminton and dancing. I like traveling a lot. As a matter of fact I was a dance teacher for younger dance fanatics a few years ago.
