EDNALYN, 29 YEARS

Dear Host Family,

I am Ednalyn, 20 years old, single and no children. I am from Bohol, Philippines that is commonly known as “God’s Little Paradise” because of the natural attractions.

As an individual, I am flexible because I can handle to do housework while caring of my host kid. I am matured enough and at the same time cheerful person who loves to share happiness to people around me. I am honest and you can trust me. I am sociable and I can easily make new friends. I know how to swim. I can speak English fairly. In my spare times, my interests are reading books, cross-stitching and biking.

I am working in a Filipino family in Philippines as a housekeeper and babysitter since 2013. My host parents are both working so I am in-charge in household duties and taking care of their precious kid named Athena aged 4 years old.
My daily routines are the following:
• Go to wet market and buy food and cook breakfast for the family.
• Bathe, dress up and feed my host kid and play with her toys.
• Sweeping and mopping of floors and vacuuming of furniture.
• Cleaning toilet bowl, sinks, shower and floors of the comfort room.
• Changing used pillows, bed sheet, bed cover, curtains and towels.
• Cook food for lunch and feed my host kid again.
• I let Athena rest and sleep every afternoon, and when she woke up she loves playing outside with other kids and I take her for a walk in the playground so she can play there also.
• Organize stuff into their designated place and put Athena’s toys into containers.
• Washing dirty clothes and bed linens and ironing.
• Cook food for dinner and prepare the table and clean up used dishes after they finish eating.
• Clean the kitchen and wash used dishes.
• Put the trash out.

I will treat your family as my own family. I will respect your house rules and privacy. I will act as a big sister to your precious child/children. I am hoping that you will treat me fairly as part of your family as your aupair.

I want to be an aupair because I want to experience different environment, to acquire knowledge regarding your culture and language and help my family financially especially my siblings so they can finish their studies.
