MARIA, 26 YEARS

Dear host family,
I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you.
My Name Is Maria Mexica Sibayan or you can call me Micah, I’m 23 years old, currently residing here in Quezon City, Philippines. I am Degree Holder. We are 7 siblings and I am the eldest. My father is a Farmer and My Mother is a housekeeper. I have many cousins and I’m close to them. Overall, we are a pretty large family.

I would describe myself as a Reliable, flexible, kind, trustworthy, and caring person. I like spending time with my family. In my free time, I like to listen music and dance. I also like to play outdoor activities like playing badminton and volleyball. As for now, I’m tutoring my young cousins in their school lessons during this lockdown caused of Pandemic. I teach 4 years old, two 5 years old, 6 years old and 10 years old and I love playing with them. I do babysitters too, they are now 2 years old and 1.5 years old.
The reason why I want to be au pair is that one of my dreams is to travel in other countries and I want to get to know the different cultures. And I also want to help your family. I know it will be a great chance to travel and to have a family in other country.
I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids. I am looking forward to talking to you.
