Hello Host Families!

I am Sue, a 26 year old, single female from the Philippines. I want to become an Au Pair because I believe this is the perfect program for me to be able to expand my knowledge of the world through knowing and experiencing a new culture, learn a new language, and make friends from other country.

There are a lot of things I learned about myself throughout the years.. among those is that I am a trustworthy person. I have confirmed this through my work experiences where my bosses found me reliable to be able to take on bigger tasks. I also consider myself great when it comes to childcare as I have took care of my niece and nephews’ during their childhood. I am very fond of children and don’t have difficulties on caring for them. I grew up in a family where independence is commonly exercised. We were trained how to be responsible through performing daily house tasks like sweeping, washing dishes, and laundry. So I learned how to wash my clothes by hand at an early age among many things. Personally, I am very friendly, easy to get along, excellent communication skills, and a quick learner.
