AILEEN, 30 YEARS

Dear Host Family,
thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

My name is Aileen De Vera and I am 26 years old. I am living in Philippines. I have a degree in Bachelor of science in hotel restaurant and tourism management and I had my internship in japan as a cultural exchanged my work as a culture exchanged is housekeeping staff, receptionist, food and beverage attendant also I worked as a caregiver and I took care of elderly people that has a dementia and Alzhemeirs. I also teach English language with kids in japan. I finished also as a nursing assistant at Saint Thomas aquinas college in southern leyte. I had my internship in Don consuelo k tan medical center.
Since the pandemic started for now i take care of my niece and nephews while I'm still looking for a job and also I like reading books but most of the time I like taking care of the people around me. I also can cook and I like swimming, hiking, dancing and singing.I would love to become your next Au Pair because I love children and enjoy spending time with them and taking care of people around me. I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult situations for instance when the kids are tired or don’t want to listen to me.
Living with me is really easy as I am not a demanding person. I do respect that the house is your house and that I have follow your house rules. If something works not quite as it should, I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things.I am really curious to hear all about you and your family.
