KRISTYL, 26 YEARS

Dear host family,
I wanted to introduce myself and inquire to any work available. I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Kristyl Galero. I am 22 years old from Jagna, Bohol Philippines. My mom is Hilda (47) and my father Norven (40) were 4 in our siblings. We are many in our house because as we all know, filipino are very close to each family. My aunt which is a teacher and her family is also living here. And they have 5 siblings. Overall, we are a pretty large family. I am living in a house that is located in an area full of nature.

I would describe myself as a reliable, heartedly and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation. I like spending time with my friends; they are – as well as my family – very important to me. Always trying to help, I’m always there for them if they need me.

In my free time I always go to a variety show or have some gig to earn money and so that i could sustain my needs and also to help my siblings which are still studying. I was just amazed how lucky I am that even my mom is deaf but i could sing well. Not to boast but i have a band which is im the singer. And Im so thankful and blessed to have this talent.

Since i started college, I am a working student. Now Im a 3rd year college already but sad to say i stop, due to financial problem and also my grand parents are now old. I need to find a job and so that i could help them.

For the years past by, I took care of children of all age. I became very close to them and I cherish the time I have spent with them. When my brother and sister was younger, I also took care of them,.Through this time, I have found out how much fun it is to have children around, I can’t imagine a life without them.

The reason why I want to go to the Europe as an au pair is that I want to get to know the way of life as well as different cultures. Most importantly, it would be a great chance to spend an entire year taking care of children. And of course, it would be great to improve my English skills as well.

I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids. I am looking forward to talking to you.
