ANGELOU, 27 YEARS

Dear Future Host Family, How are you? My name is Angelou but most of my friends call me Angging, 25 years old and physically fit, Im 5'7 tall. I was born and raised in the Philippines. I live in a small town and came from a simple and happy family. We are 5 in the family, I have 2 brothers, Ricky John and Ivan. I'm the youngest and only girl in the family, My father is a retired trucking employee and my mother is a house wife. Going to the beach is our usual family bonding, we loved enjoying the beautiful beaches in our country. No wonder our skin is naturally tanned. Since I was a kid my parents trained me in doing household chores like cleaning in the house, ironing, laundry and preparing meals. In the Philippines, If you're a girl in the family learning household chores is a MUST. I also experienced taking care of my younger cousin her name is Danniella, only when her mom was off to work because her dad was also working abroad. I used to prepare her food, gave her bath, change her clothes and play with her during weekends. Im so happy what she become, She's an honor list in her class, a kind and generous child, she's 14 years old now. Last December 2018, I graduated College in a University with a degree in Tourism Management. After I graduated college, It's always been my dream to have my own apartment and to become an independent woman. I came to Cebu City with nothing else but my diploma, skills and my pride. I've always love a challenge because I believed that's how you became stronger. I was working as a Front Office Associate in a 4 star hotel in Cebu City Philippines but then civid hit so I have to go home to my hometown and pursue in real estate sales. During my days off at work, I always clean my room, do my own laundry, iron and fold clothes and cook my favorite meals. I love cooking, especially pasta meals, I have a special recipe of my own spaghetti and it's delicious. I also love eating tropical fruits and vegetables, I was a vegan before. I love listening to music and dancing to the beat. I'm fascinated and interested in history, photography, gardening and I'm practicing painting now. My friends and family describe me as cheerful, kind, friendly, happy-go-lucky, adventurous, all or nothing, flexible and hardworking. I'm an adventurous woman. I've always been close to nature. Hiking and Island hopping are two of my favorite things to do. I want to be an Au pair because I want to touch other people's lives and bring color into it, If Im lucky to be chosen, I’m so excited to meet your beautiful kid/kids. I am very interested and I love to learn the language and culture of other country. I just learned driving now and got my license. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
