ANGEL, 33 YEARS

Dear Sir/Ma'am, I came from a big family. We are 10 siblings and I am the middle child, at an early age, I used to take care of my younger sister and brother, doing some household chores and multi-tasking job in our home. After I graduated in high school, I didn't go to college because of a financial problem my parents cannot afford sending me to college, So I decided to work as a nanny for two children 2 years old and 9 years old for almost one year. I earned enough money that can support my tuition fees in college, but that time my parents financial status got okay and they decided to send me to college. I took up only 2 years course in Hotel and Restaurant Management, so my other sister and brother can go to school after me. Life is hard after I graduated in college I still cannot find a stable and better job so I decided to work again as a nanny for one of my relatives family. Taking care of 7 years old child with heart disease, preparing his daily medicine, foods and sending and pick up him to school. After a year I've tried to apply for work that related in my course, luckily I have a chance to work in a 4 Star Hotel in Boracay as a front desk staff, but still, the salary is not big enough to support my family needs. After 6 months I've tried to apply for work in Manila and luckily I get hired as a reservation staff in a travel agency company. I live independent and far from my family because of my experiences from my early age that makes me a strong and brave person. No matter how hard life is we need to keep pushing not only for my family but for myself as well. For now, I am looking for a better environment a better opportunity. I hope I can find a kind and loving Host Family here in Au pair.
