ABIGAIL NICA, 28 YEARS

Dear Host Family,

I'm Abigail Nica Jerusalem and you just can call me "Abby”. I live with my family. My aunt and her two children is living with us. We support them for their financially needs especially when going to school and other expenses. I need to work to help them to finish their studies like me. I raise them because I’m the one who take care when my aunt and my parents are working.
Life is not that easy, that's why I need to strive harder for my family. I’m a loving person. I’m responsible, I have long patience, and can easily adapt to new environment. And most of all, I am a God-fearing person. I wish to be an au pair because I know in myself that I have passion for children. I'm happy because even though it's hard, I still have a lot of determination and passion of what I'm doing. I've experienced teaching voluntarily every Sundays in our church and during summer, because it's a Vacation Bible School for children.
I love to socialize with children and having conversation with them. I love to watch those smiles on their faces, laughter’s, and even sweet messages from them which soothes my feeling. It makes my heart flutter with joy. And lastly, I want to impart my knowledge about my country and my culture.
