LOOKING FOR A HOST FAMILY IN DENMARK OR NORWAY
I am Ma. Patricia Therese Buslon and I would like to describe myself with this letter. It is always a great dream of mine to live and work in a foreign country. I would like to go to Denmark or Norway because I think it is a beautiful country not just aesthetically but also because it is rich in culture.
I would like to tell you something about me and my family:
My family is a typical Filipino family. There are my parents, my older brother (he is 31 years old) and me.
My father, Rufo, is a company driver and my mother, Teresita, is a purchasing manager. They both work in an industrial company (Design Development Industries) for almost 30 years now.
On the other hand, my older brother, Ralph, is still studying Civil Engineering at Holy Name University.
My family and I really loves to travel. We’ve been to almost all of the fascinating beaches here in the Philippines such as Palawan, Bohol, Cebu, and Boracay. We also had the opportunity to visit other countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Laos, and Dubai. We travelled every year that is way being new in a foreign country is not that new to me.
I am the youngest in our family and I was able to graduate last 2016. I had my internship at ABS-CBN Creative Programs Inc. in their Marketing Department where I did some clerical works and help them organized events when I was in college. And ever since I graduated, I work as a freelance graphic designer. Most of my clients are start-up companies and friends.
I also had the chance to take care of children during my younger years. I looked after my little cousins and as time went by the adults trusted in me and so I got more and more responsibility. I tried (and I naturally try) hard to do my best. I am also part of the Kids Church ministry in our church. It is not always easy to take care of children but it is a great experience to share some time with them because personally, I really love kids And its always my dream to have a younger siblings. I try to be I try to be polite, creative and humorous as much as possible.
I do not have problems to help in the household. I can clean, do the laundry and I really love cooking. I am a fast learner and I can adopt to changes easily.
At this young age, all I want is to gain experience that’s why I am interested in working as an Au Pair. Not just because of the work but also because it gives you the opportunity to learn. New language, culture, being an au pair means taking on new responsibilities, experiencing highs and lows, doing all kinds of things for the very first time. These experiences will make you grow and let you learn lots and lots about yourself. Also the most important thing for me as an Au Pair (according to Filipina Au Pair I know) is that the host treats you as a family.
I hope that I am the right person to take care of your children and I am looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Sincerely yours,
Pat.
