NERISSA, 35 YEARS

Dear Family,

I am very interested in working for your family as an au-pair/housekeeper. My name is Nerissa, single and 27 years old. I studied a degree in Bachelor of Science in Psychology at La Consolacion College of Manila. I belong to a family of 5 including my parents. My father is a Jeepney driver and a farmer and my mother is a retired teacher. We are an extended family and look after each other for both physical and emotional support. My family live in a small community. Farming is the source of income of the people and our product is rice, corn and other vegetables.

I am presently employed by a Filipino Family with 3 children they are; Chermagne 6 years old, Rodel 4 years old, Joch 9 years old.

My daily tasks include providing care to children, I also organized for them and took part in recreational indoor and outdoor activities: we sang, danced, played games, role played. We also visited the public library, the local animal park, went out on picnics and a camping trip. I am also involved in cooking healthy dishes for the family, cleaning all the part of the house, laundry, organizing and tidying on a daily basis.

I love cooking it keeps me happy to see the people enjoying the food I cooked for them. I like watching comedy movies or shows it releases the happy hormones. I love playing with the kids even if I’m too old to play with them because being a kid happens once in a lifetime. Being there to witness their milestones is the most precious feeling that money can’t buy.

As far as preferences are concerned, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me stay with and work for them for at least 24 months.

I will be happy to speak with you and answer any questions that you may have about my personality, housekeeping and caregiving skills. It would also be nice to know more about you and your family and your expectation.
