MARIAN, 30 YEARS

Dear Family,

I will start my letter by greeting you a good day. :)

First and foremost, I would like to introduce myself to you, my name is Marian Fe. I’m 21 years old, single and no kids. I was born in Donsol, Sorsogon, our community is composed of peaceful families mostly engaged in fishing as source of their family income. I studied College with the course of Bachelor of Arts major in Speech and Theater Arts in Bicol University for 1 year. My family is the most precious thing in my life because they are very kind and supportive. My father died when I was 9 years old while my mother is a Barangay Councilor. I have 1 brother and 1 sister and I am the eldest child.

From 2011-2013, I worked as an all-around maid and nanny of a Filipino family with 2 children (1 boy and 1 girl). My duties are as follows: go to wet market to buy food, prepare food for the whole day, sweeping and mopping the floors, vacuuming furniture, changing bed linen, cleaning appliances like refrigerator, organizing things and toys, washing used clothes, drying, ironing and folding and put to cabinets, cleaning all rooms, setting the table and clean up after each meal, wash used plates and utensils, take the garbage out, watering the plants and flowers in the garden, assisting them in eating, taking shower, dressing up, grooming them, taking them to school and bring them home after classes, play games inside and outside the house, watch them while they are playing with other kids, reading educational books, assist them while biking and take them for a walk in the park and playground. After I studied college in 2015, I started taking care of nephew age 1 year and 5 months until now.

My characteristics are I am honest, trustworthy, jolly, easy to get along with, with good public relation with people and a religious person with faith in God. I have a positive outlook in life and I always wear a smile on my face. I think, I have a kind and caring personality. I can work under pressure and I can do multitasking. I put my heart into everything I do in life. I love to learn and experience new things daily. I can take care of kids with any ages and I am comfortable to look after many kids. When I have free time, I listen to music, sing, take care of children and play my favorite sport volleyball.


I would grab the opportunity to be part of a host family and work as their aupair. My goal is to help my family and myself as well. I want to gain more knowledge by learning your culture and language. I will be happy to develop good relationship with each family member and be in the side of your child/children as they are growing up. It’s my pleasure to lend a helping hand to your family so it can ease everyday living.
