JOAN, 34 YEARS

A pleasant good day to you!I am writing to apply for a Caregiver or Private Nurse position. My name is Joan and I'm 30 years old from Philippines. I belong to a family of six (6) including my parents. My Father works as a Phil. Coast Guard and My Mother is a housewife. I have 3 siblings. We are all four (4) including me. I'm in the second place. My eldest brother works as a property manager in a prestige company. The third one is my youngest sister who works as a verifier in one of the nice companies and also my youngest brother is currently studying Electrical Engineering who is in 3rd year college. We are nice, happy, and family oriented. I have a genuine interest in the well-being of children and elderly and I love to interact to empathize people. I graduated in the field of BS in Nursing and I'm a Registered Nurse. I believe that my two (2) years of experience in teaching English language to Korean students and took care of 3 kids in Switzerland and in Denmark up to present until May 2018 makes me a very competitive candidate. My strength include being able to manage and work well with a variety of personalities, to converse with anyone, and to enter easily into new situations with a creative and resourceful attitude. I would also like to say that I sincerely enjoy spending time with children and elderly. I am quite easy to get along with. I have worked with a wide age range of kids. I studied caregiving course for 6 months and finished it last 2014 which is also included how to handle an elderly patient. I got a National Certificate of level 2 (NC 2) under TESDA which is considered as a licensed Caregiver.
I would describe myself as a God fearing person, reliable, honest, open-minded, trustworthy, caring, friendly, hardworking, and responsible. I am a family oriented person with a great perspective in life. I am willing to learn about its culture and people. I appreciate every opportunity for a new experience and improve myself. My hobbies are watching movies, listening to music, window shopping, travel to another place and sometimes hanging out with my friends. I also love to dance that makes me feel happy. I go to church every Sunday to praise God and give thanks for all the blessing that I receive in my life.

I want to become a Caregiver or Private nurse because I would like to look after sick people to use my knowledge and skills as a nurse or take care of child. I want to spend a valuable time and memories with you to become part of your family as a companion. I want to get to know another way of life and different cultures. I also want to see a new part of the world, meet new people, make new friends and I really love to learn new language and share everything with people.
