VICTOR, 33 YEARS

I am Victor I'm 27 years old. I'm from Mexico city For the past year I have made the decision to carry out new projects in my life and what better to do a volunteer in Denmark in which I am currently participating at the end of my project I want to carry out a new project of aupair with the intention of prolonging my stay of 12 months This will help me to have more time to learn Danish or Norwegian. I also have an interest Scandinavian culture and the Nordic mythology which I want to learn.

I am currently volunteering in Denmark by Dansk ICYE as a teacher assistant supporting in Spanish classes in a high school so far I have had a unique experience. I am staying with a host family where I have learned a bit of the Danish culture and little by little I have been adapting to the customs. I plan to continue my volunteer career around Denmark or in some other Scandinavian country.

Right now I'm living with a host family has been an incredible experience It has given me the opportunity to meet many people of different places and live with different people too. Being away from home and deal with very different people has helped me to mature and grow as a person. I have learned to be more patient, tolerant and I am able to communicate better to resolve misunderstanding.

As a Mexican I would like to show you my culture as well as its traditions, gastronomy and festivities. In the short time I've been in Denmark, I've met people who have been interested in Mexican culture. This makes me very proud.

The reason why I decided to do this is the pleasure of making an adventure in another country in a family atmosphere, which I really value. I am really excited with this opportunity, I know that to live with your children and with you, in a different country like Denmark, will increase my personal background and I´ll learn a lot. Likewise, I´d love to become a part of your family.

I would like to be au pair because for me it is a personal project to be able to help people with cordiality and respect, I want to share ideas and experiences, even meeting extraordinary people and making new friends.
This wonderful project can change the lives of others that better form to promote childcare with values and ethics to develop me professionally and emotionally.

During my stay I would like to become a part of your culture and learn everything possible about your society. I consider myself an extroverted person, sociable and above all wanting to live new experiences that I am sure will bring me maturity, trust and accountability. I am willing to learn danish or norwegian and I am aware that a language is only learned deeply when it is in the country where it is spoken.

I am very interested in participating in projects of civil associations this gives me the opportunity to approach all the associations that exist in Denmark or Norway in order to collaborate with volunteers and to help the communities.

For my part I can take care of children with their daily tasks such as preparing their meals, washing their clothes, cleaning their rooms and helping them in their academic training is also an opportunity as a Spanish speaker to teach Spanish to children.

I want to work in the education sector because it is an opportunity to learn new skills. I would also like with the support the organizations to organize socio-cultural events, sports, musicals or meetings about a topic of interest I thing it is a way to get to know the students and teachers better. Is an area of opportunity for relationships and work in the future.

If I am to be chosen for this project I will have the opportunity to learn from the best and the fact that I will au pair in an international environment gives me the privilege of creating new relationships with people from different cultures. To me, this project is the next step to gain personal and professional perspective in my career.
