XAVIERA, 37 YEARS

Dear host family,
My name is Xaviera Sanchez. I am from Mexico and already in Asker, Norway as an au pair for over 8 months, I have the au pair visa valid until November 2018, unfortunately my host family no longer needs an au pair because economical issues, I have a recommendation letter from them, they are a very lovely American/Norwegian family and as well have recommendations from a Serbia/Italian family which I worked back in Serbia as their nanny and housekeeper. I have a bachelor degree in Nursing and speak Spanish, English and getting the b1 of Norwegian language. I am reliable, very responsible, clean, educated, friendly and love children, have experience working with children before and currently, as well since I am a nurse I have experience working in a Children hospital back in my home city and have had taken training for CPR. Your children will be safe and happy with my performance and your home will be always shining. I love Norway since I was 18 years old, been traveling around the country a bit and the reason why I choose Norway was because I am in love with the History from the Viking era and Norse mythology. I dream of being able to register my profession in the health department here in Norway and that is why I am studying the language. First of all, I'd like to say I love to be surrounded by children. Have experience working as a nanny while I was studying on university and also helping at home to raise my little brother and little sister, a side my niece. I have also experience of taking care of a twin couple of little girls in Belgrade, Serbia, I do have a recommendation letter from that Serbia/Italian family and here in Norway been an au pair since middle October 2016 until today. I have also work with children in a children's hospital back in my home city in Mexico. I would love to continue as an au pair because this is what I like to do, being near children and helping and contribute to raise them and provide them love and cares as well that it is an amazing opportunity to accomplish my dreams of learning more about Norwegian culture, society and the language.

I love being social, as a latin person I am, he he, I love music, traveling, cinematography and reading. I also love making friends and getting to know the world, different cultures and histories. I love traveling, I have a goal, first the most important and beautiful cities in Norway and then Iceland, Sweden, Denmark and Faore Islands. I am in love with Scandinavia and everything related to its history and culture fascinates me a lot! I am also an admirer of the Norse mythology and runes. My hobbies here in Norway are hiking and going to concerts, since I didn't have the opportunity before of following many of my European and Norwegian favorite bands. I also love how Norwegians are great musicians and artists. I would love to become a register nurse here in Norway, I have already sent my documents to Helse Direktoratet so they can review my education and background, in the meantime I am trying to accomplish the B2 level of Norwegian language I need and to take the Bergenstest exam as soon as I am ready. This is the place I want to grow old in and get a family, this is the country of my dreams and I am really happy of being able to live this wonderful and amazing experience. I really feel so lucky.
