My name is Venessa Achieng but you can call me Ven as my friends and family call me Ven.I'm twenty years old born November 15 2002, I'm a Kenyan by nationality in search of my first family match. I've been longing to be an Aupair and I'm ready to be one. I HAVE THOROUGH CHILD CARE EXPERIENCE FROM AGES 0 TO 13 YEARS. I HAVE A VALID PASSPORT AND A B2(MANUAL) DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH EXPERIENCE WITH BOTH AUTOMATIC AND MANUAL CARS. I AM AVAILABLE TO TRAVEL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I am single and I don't have children. I just finished my high school and studying German and Spanish online. I haven't joined college yet because I want to make my dreams of being an aupair come true. I am currently working with my sisters at our small shop where we sew clothes made of African fabrics. I'm also babysitting my neighbour's daughter as a part-time job. I look after her when she comes back from school during the afternoon. Since her mother gets off work late during the evening, I make sure she has done her homework, played enough, well fed, clean and played puzzle games with her as she likes doing puzzles . I've finished my driving classes and I'll be getting my international driver's license soon. I am a native speaker of English and Swahili and I have basic knowledge of Spanish and German. I am open to attend language courses and learn more languages. I want to join your family as an aupair because I love and adore children very much and would love to be a big sister to your children and pets and help them grow into happy, well natured, responsible, respectful, independent and loving adults and pets.There is nothing that can make me more happy and proud than to see your children and pets becoming the best version of themselves with my help. Some of the things I can do very well is help you around the house when needed. I can cook African cuisines very well and would love for you to teach me your country's cuisines, I can do laundry, I can do light house chores like vacuuming and cleaning after the kids after we are done playing and when they are done with eating, I can take care of any pet be it a dog or cat , I can watch the kids for extra hours, I can drive them to playdates, their extra curricular activities, school and anywhere they are needed to go, I can play their favourite games with them,I can ensure healthy playing and napping for them and I can help them with their homework and school projects. I would love to exchange cultures with your family.I would love to share my African lifestyle with your family like teaching you how to prepare the most delicious famous dish in Kenya called Pilau and Kachumbari. It's confirmed that it's the most delicious African cuisine. Also teach your family Swahili language and our famous Kenyan slang called Sheng'. I would love to teach you cool African dance moves as I love dancing a lot. I would love to sing for your family as I love singing a lot. I can assure you that you will enjoy my singing as I mostly sing African traditional songs and I can sing lullabies to the kids every night. I would also love to share with your beautiful family African folktales and stories that my grandparents and mother used to tell me when I was a kid, I can assure you they are very educational and your beautiful kids will love them. I would like to set myself up to new challenges and explore Europe as it has been my dream to explore the continent's nature, culture, food and people overally. I am very respectful and I'll obey and abide by your house rules always. I respect boundaries and you will not worry about me interfering in you personal space or breaking any of your house rules as long as my stay is concerned. I would like to become an Aupair abroad because I want to challenge myself to more experiences with childcare as my dream is to pursue teaching for kindergarteners in future and also challenge myself to new adventures. I want to further my knowledge of linguistics and learn new languages and I want to do cultural exchange with other countries and educate myself further about European countries. I love cooking, I'm not picky when it comes to food and I have no allergies or medical conditions whatsoever. I love singing, that has been my passion ever since I was a child. I was once in a music competition in Kenya .Singing makes me feel alive and unstoppable. I wouldn't mind if your beautiful family joins me in a karaoke match .Dancing, listening to music,reading, researching, cycling and hanging out with friends and family are also some things that I really enjoy and will love to share them with your beautiful family. I also enjoy arts and crafts as my we own a small fashion and design shop where we sew African printed fabrics to beautiful clothes, we also do creative art work with the remaining fabrics by decorating bottles, bracelets and bangles. I can teach your kids how to make bangles and bracelets and also decoration of bottles. I can help them with drawings, painting and colouring and making easy crafts like kites and paper airplanes to help jog their brain up and bring happiness to their beautiful faces. I will also love to make something of African culture for Culture Day.Hiking, camping and road trips are also some of the things I love to do. I describe myself as respectful, bubbly, creative,independent, responsible,flexible, family oriented, trustworthy, punctual,focused and most importantly easy to communicate and get along with. I adapt to new places and experiences very quickly, I am very understanding, a very fast learner and very dedicated person. I am the last born in a family of ten and I've had 5+ years of experience in childcare as I was the one who mostly took care of my baby cousins whom are now old enough to take care of themselves and also my nephews and nieces. I'm currently living with my sister who has two kids. My niece is 8 years old and my nephew just turned 8 months old. Being that I was the one helping my sister with my niece ever since she was an infant, I have alot of childcare experience between the ages 0 to 8years . I help my niece with her homework, preparing her and taking her to school,cleaning after the kids, tucking them to bed and playing with them games like hide and seek, Scrabble, telling jokes and storytimes and making crafts like paper airplanes and kites, painting and colouring pictures. I also help my sister with my eight month old nephew with feeding, changing his dippers, cleaning after his done playing or feeding, cleaning and refilling his feeding bottles, doing his laundry and taking him out for walks. I do this during the day as my sister goes to work and comes back during the evening and she takes it from there. I sometimes make my niece and nephew dinner and tuck them in bed after eating their dinner and reading them some bedtime stories. After my aupair year I would love to go back home and go back to college and achieve my dreams of becoming a kindergarten teacher due to my undying love for children. I also want to be a language teacher and by learning different languages and cultures, it will give me proper and a lot of understanding while teaching and I'll be able to teach my students. I know I am in Kenya but like I said I have each and every document ready for me to be able to apply for an Aupair visa. I'm just requesting for a chance to show you who I am truly like and how dedicated I am to this job. Please lend me a helping hand as I really need to get a job as there's no one to help with my college tuition as my parents are too old to work and pay for it and my siblings have hand to mouth jobs. I want to be able to support myself and my family. Europe has always been my dream continent to visit as it has very beautiful nature and exploring it will be an honour.
